Who We Are

After graduating from Napier University with a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management, Graeme joined TGI Fridays in Management, working across multiple TGI restaurants in the UK. Following a period in retail in a family business at Treehouse Interiors, Graeme moved to become Commercial manager at The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, operating the hospitality, retail and events in Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park.  He climbed to new heights as Manager of the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena before expanding his role into Operations Director with Edinburgh Leisure, managing the council leisure facilities across the city, including hosting the Commonwealth Games at the Royal Commonwealth Pool.

Graeme returned to hospitality in 2015, managing the Starbucks licence stores for Alshaya in the Middle East, moving with his family out to Kuwait for 7 years. During that time, he was responsible for the operation of over 1,000 Starbucks stores across 10 different countries in the MENA region.

Returning to the UK in 2022, Graeme has worked with the Pizza Punks brand, as well as Commercial Director for Kangaroo Self Storage. 

Graeme's role at The Explorer Group is to help the business grow with existing and new Brands, seek out new locations and achieve commercial goals.
